To access your school email account from the internet, open your internet browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, AOL etc….), go to the school website and click on the “Check Staff Email“ link toward the bottom of the page.

If you are using Windows XP, you should see a window similar to the one shown below in Fig. 1


1.     Enter the information requested in this format;

a.     Username: ocs-nt1\username  - this is the username you login with at work.

b.     Password: *******        - this is the network password you use at work.

c.      Click on OK

2.     This should bring up your school email account. This is a new/better layout than the old version. You have many more options and capabilities than before, such as you contacts, calendar and folders are available now. If you don’t see all of these items, then click on the Folders tab located just under where it says Outlook Web Access.

If you are using Windows 98 or Windows 2000 the box may appear different as shown below in Fig. 2. If it asks for your username/password/domain name, then enter them in the corresponding boxes

Username: YourNetworkUser ID   (i.e. rgrimes)

Password: Your Network Password

Domain: ocs-nt1
